Gubbachi started on the back of a motorbike. No joke. We were motoring through the Western Ghats, discovering flavours that hit home—and that’s when the idea of Gubbachi was born, even if we didn’t know it at the time.
The name “Gubbachi,” meaning sparrow in Kannada, is a nod to our city and the little bird that’s now in absentia: always grounded, always moving, and always searching.
We’re from Bangalore, and damn proud of it. But our roots are in good food—food that’s fresh, clean, and made with care. If we wouldn’t serve it to our friends (or in our own living rooms), it’s not on our shelf.
Gubbachi is simple: We’re picky about what we sell, we ensure the use of premium clean ingredients, and we care about what’s good for the planet.
So join us on our ride—because we’re all about good food, good vibes, and a little bit of adventure.
